Give brief introduction and CAPTURE the audience! Tell your background, credentials. One housekeeping rule – cell phone on silent or off unless your profession requires it to be on at all times. Talk about David Green’s no cell phone policy. Tell Iphone story and read letter. This session isn’t about the details of the mechanics of public speaking. There are several organizations that can help you with that and I will share those resources as the end of this session. We get so caught up in form that we sometimes forget that the content is what God is really concerned about. As I was sifting through my material trying to determine what this workshop needed to be, I pulled out a few key points that I believe will address my topic in a more effective way.
To share how to become more powerful, relevant, and effective Kingdom witnesses for success in business and life using the platform of public speaking. The world is asking HOW CAN I BE SUCCESSFUL? HOW CAN I GET AHEAD? They need to know that He is THE solution to business and life success. Our job is piquing their interest and causing them to ask questions. We have the answer working in our lives. The keywords here are POWERFUL, RELEVANT and EFFECTIVE! (Poll the room to get a count of experience with public speaking) It’s GAMETIME now and I’d say we’re are the in the last few minutes of the 4th quarter. We use EVERY opportunity to shine our light for Christ. We have so many different types of businesses represented here. You can make an impact no matter what arena you’re involved in.

Fun Facts!
In the beginning…
Facts Tell – Stories Sell!Become an amazing storyteller. Stores create visual imprints and give the audience a memorable experience. Facts SELL, stories SELL. Whether you’re selling your product or selling yourself, it is important to weave stories into your presentation.
Telling your story.
Who were you then? Do you remember who you were before the success, the accolades, and awards? Before you started your business or career?Don’t just tell facts…stories! For those with a longer more detailed testimony with twists and turns – write a book!
