said unto him, I am the Lord: And I appeared unto
Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of
God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not

prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for
you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye
know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord,
we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the
way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the

have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we
desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to
the full assurance of hope unto the end: That ye be not
slothful, but followers of them who through faith and
patience inherit the promises. For when God made
promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no
greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will
bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so,
after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise”
