The Digital Citizenship presentation was for teenage school students on responsible use of the Internet, the web, social media and blogging services. We discussed how to avoid problems with passwords, keeping accounts secure and downloading free files. While the emphasis is on positive uses of the web, the session also looks at avoiding risks in downloading free material, viruses along with minimising the dangers of cyber bullying and online predators. The Digital Citizenship presentation also discusses how to keep your details private while emphasising no-one is truly anonymous on the Internet and with social media services.
