- Source Stats Canada/ statista Assumption 2.5% growth rates for retail sales. 2017 will see online sales nearly doubling from 2012. So, we could see with in ten years 20-25% of all sales will be done online. Business will be transforming to adjust to online sales. Brick and Mortar companies will be adjusting their business operations like scaling back stores as part re-visiting the hub and spoke approach to customers.
