Road rage describes violent or aggressive driving behaviors that can cause accidents. It is caused by factors like carelessness, recklessness, and temper. Forms of road rage include tailgating, weaving, honking excessively, rude gestures, shouting, hitting others, and throwing objects. To avoid road rage, drivers should maintain a safe following distance, not block traffic, apologize for mistakes, be patient, only honk when necessary, and use turn signals.

8. Be Courteous How To Avoid Road Rage While not all drivers will be as courteous, your efforts will go a long way in protecting yourself.

9. Do not Tailgate Tailgating makes the driver in front nervous and gives one less time to react if the vehicle in front slows down or brakes suddenly. The correct behavior – Keep a safe following distance. Do not harass the vehicle in front by tailgating.
