1. Gold Coast 2008 V8 SUPERCAR DRIVERS LUNCH

3. With the full endorsement and unconditional support of V8 Supercars Australia, the annual V8 Drivers Lunch, presented by Pegasus Motor Homes was held day one to the Nikon Indy 300. Now listed as an “Off Track” must attend Gold Coast event to all motorsport enthusiast. With 600 attending the function our guests had an opportunity to lunch with all V8 Supercar Drivers at Conrad Jupiters.

4. The 2008 - V8 Supercar Drivers Lunch at Conrad Jupiters again delivered a new look “Audio – Visual” sight and sound entertainment spectacular. The entertainment package included 20’ x 15’ screen, 4 x 5 metre diameter round screens, 4 x 4 metre white “inflatable spheres" with projected screen imagery. V8 Supercars, teams and sponsors were room featured to a new look dimension, the visual application was very creative with an edgy way to deliver visual surround branding.

5. For the V8 Supercar Drivers Lunch, Network Seven provided simply the best television highlights footage that has been viewed from season 2008 during their exclusive award winning V8 Supercar coverage. Segments of the sensational footage shown on the day included the 2008 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 with interviews of the winning drivers from Team Vodaphone, Jamie Wincup and Craig Lowndes. Network Seven Motorsport hosts Pat Welsh conducted driver interviews.

6. After lunch the foyer gallery outside the Conrad ballroom was set (chairs & tables) for a private ( lunch guests only) V8 Supercar Driver autograph session with V8SA providing special edition V8 Supercars Series Poster - All V8 Drivers participated.

7. The XXXX Angels are 7 talented dancers who appeared at every Australian round of the 2008 V8 Supercar Championship Series performing their fantastic routines for the crowd on track before each race and on the big stage - as a special entertainment package the XXXX Angels where a very popular inclusion on show at the V8 Supercar Drivers Lunch

8. A new inclusion to the lunch program was the V8 Driver Legend Session, presented by Jim Beam, our special legend was Dick Johnson with grandson Jet , son of Steven Johnson, interviewed by Seven’s Pat Welsh. Jim Beam girls were welcomed hostess at the lunch to meet and greet with complimentary Jim Beam product sampling and gifts to all patrons (over the age 18). V8 Driver Legend Session

9. HSM Group’s official charity Variety Queensland, the V8 Supercar Drivers Lunch raised just over $20,000 , the major raffle prize donated by Show Group Travel, a trip for 2 people airfares & accommodation to the V8 Supercars inaugural Townsville 400 Event Street Race in July 2009. As a marketing promotion each ticket purchase to the V8 Drivers Lunch included an automatic entry into the lucky door prize, giving one patron the keys to new car to drive away on the day. The lucky winner Scott Carter from Kanga Couriers generously donated the major prize back to Variety Queensland. The prize car will become part of a major fundraiser for Variety QLD in early 2009, again the prize being the choice of a Holden or Ford.
