2. Types of Breast Surgeries
Understand your options. These are the
most common types of breast surgeries:
• Breast Reduction
• Breast Implants/Augmentation with either
saline or silicone implants
• Breast Lift (Mastopexy)
3. Breast Reduction
A reduction mammoplasty, more commonly
known as a breast reduction, is a treatment
option for women with disproportionately large
breasts who suffer from back and neck pain,
poor circulation and impaired breathing.
Breast reduction surgery is also a treatment for
male breast enlargement, called gynecomastia.
5. Breast Implants/Augmentation
• Silicone Implants: Pre-filled with silicone
gel, this thick, sticky fluid mimics the feel of
human fat so they look and feel more
natural.
• Saline Implants: Saline is sterile salt water.
Implants are inserted empty and filled to the
required size once they’re in place.

7. Breast Lift
A breast lift relieves sagging skin and breast
dropping, known as “ptosis.”
• May be combined with implants to
augment the breast and restore a fuller
size.
• Severe ptosis may require surgical
removal of tissue similar to a breast
reduction.
9. Tummy Tuck
(Abdominoplasty)
The Tummy Tuck procedure removes
excess abdominal fat and skin following
pregnancy, and extreme weight gain and
loss.
• Tighten the abdominal area
• Improve muscle tone
• Restore the waistline and contour of the
abdomen
11. Mommy Makeover
The Mommy Makeover combines a Tummy
Tuck and Breast Augmentation (lift or
implants) or Liposuction to treat the areas of
the body most affected by pregnancy.
13. Liposuction
Liposuction is an outpatient procedure that removes
fat from problem areas, the most popular ones being
the:
• Tummy
• Thighs
• Arms
• Neck
• Flanks
Liposuction is not a weight loss alternative as it only
helps to sculpt specific, targeted areas of the body.
