1. EXPERIENCED MEDICINAL CHEMISTS – CAMBRIDGE
Domainex currently has several vacancies for experienced medicinal chemists. Our ideal candidates will have a
chemistry PhD and at least three years’ experience gained in industry, or in an academic drug discovery setting.
Using a wide range of modern methods and technology, our medicinal chemists design and synthesise compounds for our
drug discovery projects. Laboratory work is a major component of this varied and challenging role, and our chemists are
encouraged to continue to develop their drug design and synthesis skills in a supportive working environment.
Domainex is an integrated drug discovery company with capabilities in biology and chemistry. We apply our
computational and medicinal chemistry expertise to design and deliver candidate drugs for our contract research clients,
and for our own portfolio of innovative projects. We have a number of proprietary technologies that address key steps in
drug research, including the expression of recombinant proteins and efficient hit-finding. Our clients are located in the UK,
Europe and the USA, and include many well-known biotechnology and global pharmaceutical companies, as well as
world-class academic groups and research institutes.
The Domainex team has been recruited from major companies and leading universities, and we are highly experienced in
every aspect of drug discovery – from initial planning and hit-finding through to patent filings and the selection of clinical
drug candidates. Our state of the art laboratories are located in Cambridge, at the centre of Europe’s largest
biotechnology cluster.
