2. Sweepstakes, Contests & Game Experience
Haley Miranda Group has years of experience successfully developing and administering sweepstakes
promotions for high profile clients across all channels.
HMG has administered and fulfilled hundreds of
sweepstakes and contests on local, regional and
national levels – offline, online and integrated.
We handle every aspect of the process: planning,
creative development, production, programming,
legal, rules, bonding, state registrations,
winner notification and prize fulfillment.
Accountability / Indemnification
We understand the potential liability that a sweepstakes can
represent and approaches every promotion with extreme caution and
diligence to protect our clients.
HMG vets all consumer-facing promotional elements with the law firm of Loeb & Loeb, industry leaders in
this legal discipline. HMG takes nothing for granted. We have never had a legal challenge to any of our
projects.
In addition, HMG maintains an errors and omissions insurance policy that names our clients and protects
them with $5 million in coverage.
Value
Our sweepstakes administration fees are extremely competitive, and all-inclusive, unlike some
of our competitors who charge a low basic fee that does not cover all necessary services.

Market’s Facebook page for a chance to win
a trip to India. To further support sweepstakes

5. Unlock the tC Road Trip
To help launch their next-generation Scion tC,
the auto maker needed a concept that
delivered fast and sustained awareness
online and via social media.
HMG took the wheel, creating the Unlock
the tC Road Trip Game – an 8-week, multi-
stage, virtual journey across the USA that
challenged players with mini-games, an
instant win overlay and trivia questions.
Scion’s music, art, racing and lifestyle sites
were incorporated into the gameplay to
give players meaningful interaction with the
brand culture.
Taking it from cyberspace and into the streets,
HMG flew four finalists to Los Angeles for
a major event where they competed live in
front of a massive audience for the chance
to win a new car.
Results
The Unlock the tC Road Trip Game was a
roaring success with over 60,000 unique
visitors and a stage-to-stage retention rate
of over 94%. Returning visitors spent more
than 5 minutes on the site. Facebook was
crucial to success of program. Of the users
who clicked through from Facebook, 27%
went on to create a new account.

6. Spooktacular Sweepstakes
Cost Plus World Market (CPWM), the spirited,
eclectic, global adventure retailer was looking
for a Halloween partner to help extend its
reach and increase sales during this key
selling season.
HMG crafted a program that enabled both
companies to gain incremental media
exposure across a wide spectrum of consumer
touchpoints, outside of their typical channels.
CPWM was able to reach potential new
customers through 120 integrated
:30 promotional spots on HGTV, while
HGTV was able to reach consumers online,
in-store, and in CPWM’s printed store circular.
Results
In addition to having the highest number of
sweepstakes entries ever, CPWM garnered
millions of documented TV spot impressions
through HGTV. Likewise, HGTV received
coveted in-store presence in 269 CPWM
stores nationwide, while accessing World

8. Style Search Contest
To help Levi’s increase brand awareness
among elusive college market, HMG
created a relevant, multi-faceted program
that reached students where they live – online
and on campus.
We created Style Search, a nationwide
model search executed online and on
campus at Levi’s pop-up stores to find a
few good faces to star in a Levi’s advertising
campaign. Students uploaded photos of
themselves in their favorite Levi’s jeans and
encouraged friends to vote for them online,
increasing web sign-ups tenfold. Winners
were flown to New York city to be given the
model treatment at a Levi’s photo shoot and
were featured in a national Levi’s “Style for
Every Story” print campaign which celebrated
the personal connection people have with
their Levi’s jeans.
Results
Thousands of entries were received during
the 7-week promotion. The contest homepage
received over tens of thousands of hits, and
thousands opted-in to the database.

9. Bag a Monster Buck Game
To boost field sports programming ratings
for Versus, HMG developed a revenue-
generating promotion for one of the
network’s most important partners – the
National Cable Television Cooperative.
Promotion elements included a brandable
casual game we called Bag a Monster Buck
(BAMBI for short). This unassuming little
game was easy to pick up and hard to put
down, and quickly spread across the
Internet reaching near cult status.
When the promotion ended, the game
ended too, which devastated fans who
petitioned for its return.
Results
The Versus NCTC promotion was a big
success, with a 95% participation rate and
a huge ROI for Versus. But the Bag a
Monster Buck game was the real story here,
garnering millions of plays and legions of
fans who petitioned Versus to bring back
BAMBI (which they did).

10. Online florists have sprouted like dandelions
in recent years and the competition has
never been tougher. And it doesn’t get
much thornier than on Mother’s Day, the
industry’s second busiest day of the year.
Teleflora looked to HMG to position them
as the online destination for Mother’s Day
bouquets.
HMG structured a six-month long web-
based contest to find America’s Favorite
Mom, driving traffic to the site during key
selling periods. Moms and their admirers
across the country submitted essays, photo
or video entries vying for a chance to win
the coveted title (and lots of great prizes).
Mom supporters and site visitors were also
given a chance to win cash and prizes in
weekly sweepstakes which made the site
that much stickier.
Results
Over 30,000 Moms entered and nearly
600,000 people visited the website to view
the entries and vote. Most of the voters
opted-in for future database marketing
efforts and Mother’s Day bouquet sales
hit an all-time high for Teleflora.
