4. Go to www.sircs.org.uk to Log in

5. Enter your Username and Password then agree to Terms & Conditions

7. The Home Page or ‘Dashboard’

8. Click the Purple Button to view Offender’s Profiles

20. Click the Reports Button to Create a Report

22. Click the ‘Write/Submit a Report’ Button

24. Check to see if your Offenders are already on SIRCS by typing their name

25. All matches are displayed below for you to click and select

27. Once a name has been selected it displays with this red dot at the end

28. Complete the other tabs (only the 2nd and last are required)

30. Add details of what happened in the Details tab (required)

32. You can auto-geolocate your incident in the Location tab just by entering the Postcode

34. If you wish to add a photograph or CCTV still of the incident - check this box before
submitting the report (you will be taken to an image cropping tool once you submit)

35. Once you have entered all the information you have, click the submit button

38. Click the Profiles Button to Create a New Profile

40. Click the Create a Profile Button

42. Check to see if the Profile already exists by typing the name in the ‘Name Search box’
If the Profiles already exists you should not create a duplicate.

43. If the offender is not already on SIRCS create a new Profile by clicking on each tab in turn
and entering as much information as you have (only the first and last tabs are required)

45. If you wish to add a photograph of the offender - check this box

46. Then click the ‘Create New Profile’ button
(where you can upload and crop the image)

48. Click the ‘Choose file’ button then locate and select the image on your computer

49. Next click the ‘Upload’ button

51. Click on your image and ‘drag’ to select the area required

52. Your cropped image is shown here

53. When you are happy with your cropped image click the ‘Save Image’ button

55. Your New Offender Profile is then displayed

56. If you want to add a new incident report linked to this profile click the ‘Add Report’ link
