It's 4:30am on a Saturday morning. The narrator wakes up earlier than usual and gets dressed in the dark so as not to wake anyone. When looking out the window, the narrator sees they cannot see outside because the howling January winds have caused the window to fog up. While unable to see outside, the narrator knows a snowy world awaits and they will not leave the house that day.

Its Saturday I’m waking up It’s not my usual time Its dark outside I check the clock It’s 4:30 am I get up Feeling that if I don’t My down comforter will swallow me Whole I wake up Slowly Putting on my clothes In the dark So no one wakes up I look out the window But I can’t see anything But then I realize It’s snowing And the reason I can’t see anything Is because my window is fogged The howling winds of January Have caused my window to fog up Like s mirror after someone has taken a shower And although I can’t see anything We won’t leave the house today The world is a peace At four in the morning And although I can’t see out my window I know my world is covered in snow
