15. 12 And after the earthquake there was a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire there was the sound of a gentle whisper. 1 Kings 19:12 (NLT)

16. 28 “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 (NLT)

17. Lord Jesus, you have promised to carry our burdens. Yet, we have failed to believe you. Forgive us. Help us to hand our burdens, our worries, our fears, our guilt, our shame, over to you, as we now sit silently in your presence.

18. Light of the world, shine your light into the darkness of our lives, lift up and restore broken spirits. In Jesus’ name we pray.
