Worship should be focused on God, not human needs or preferences. True worship comes from loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. Jesus said the greatest commandments are to love God and love our neighbor. God wants us to demonstrate our love through righteous living, justice, and compassion - not just rituals or performances.
2. The HEART of WORSHIP Too often we give the impression that worship is about us, about our needs, about our music. But in reality, worship is not about us. It’s about God. And it’s about God’s love for us.And sometimes our preoccupation with music and style leads to our own spiritual barrenness.
