We follow the public health social ecological model like many of the programs you work on. PEC – Change behavior of more people for less money than one on one programs.
Share these slides with your coalition members who were not able to attend the training. This is a public health approach – not just based on brainstorming, who has the most clout at the table…..
There has been so much funding put into what should be funded that it is much easier today then it was 3 years ago to determine what to fund, programming to recommend, and training to provide in the policy area. CDC, RWJF, and so many national organizations have spent the last few years funding large projects and research to provide toolkits, websites and resources with the national policies that states and local leaders are recommended to implement.

Evaluation forms – Please provide meaningful information. Location – George offered to host and it was very economical. Food – Supporting local and fun…probably could be more healthy but we opted not to do Subway. Slides – There may be a few additional slides and slight changes. We can post the presentation after the Dewitt training on our website for your use. 4 th year of providing BHC trainings – guess what – new recommendations at the state and local level have appeared; partners are playing a closer role with the project; funding is diversifying so we have to keep those purses happy; some people call me “too passionate” but as we were developing these slides last week, we discussed how we were enjoying developing this NEW presentation. Keeps us motivated and the project green!
