This report summarizes the PresenTense Community Division's activities in the third quarter of 2009. It provides metrics on the number of cities PT is active in, events held, people involved, mentorship matches, contributors to PT9, and engagement of past fellows. It also outlines goals for the next quarter, including expanding to two new cities, increasing mentorship matches and steering committee members, engaging more users online, and involving more past fellows through writing, mentorship, and other activities.

1. PresenTense Community Division Report Q3 2009 Here is a summary of the Community Division’s activities for August – October as compared to the metrics established in the project proposal.

2. Metric: City Stats : In how many cities is PT active? How many activities happen in a given city per year? How many people have been involved in that city? Report: We have been in the process of reevaluating our city activities, in order to ensure that PT is providing added value through running events, as well as that these events are furthering our mission of fostering the next generation of pioneers. This reevaluation will be important before moving forward with plans to systemize PT City Activities and expand them to additional cities. At this time, PT is operating in 4 cities , New York, Chicago, Jerusalem, and LA, having run or engaging in plans to run a total of 10 events this quarter : All four cities are currently in the process of planning launch events for the Philanthropy issue, to take place in December, for a total of 6 launch events around the world:
