3. Technology Solution
Technical Issues: -
Legacy systems did not provide access beyond the closed network
(LAN).
Little technical support was available to Quytech, as the Vendor had
refused to share APIs.
Data was supposed to be used offline.
All the data had to be synced in the night.
4. Technical solution: -
Quytech proposed a custom Middleware to enable access to the data on
the field. Some highlights of the solution were: -
1. The sales person can sync all the data in the morning and work offline
throughout the day.
2. Created custom APIs to access the Legacy systems data
3. Quytech’s Middleware was hosted on-premises with LAN access to the
legacy systems
4. Quytech’s Middleware exposed part of the data to the mobile apps via
Internet through the Firewall.
5. The Mobile app was optimized to download only the fresh data. The
app contained it’s own database for offline working.

4. Can sync user-generated data in real time if network is available.
5. Automatically syncs data only first time during the day.
6. Also allows the use to manually refresh data in case required.
7. In case of large amount of download, the system ensures that the
downloaded data is saved in case of an Internet connection failure.
8. Provides remote troubleshooting capabilities. Support people can know
about the issues in the app from the server logs itself. Makes the task
of supporting remote field workers very easy.
9. Has the capability to inform the user about an upgraded version
available. And downloads and installs the app upgrade if the user
