Matapu students talk about what it is like to learn on the VLN. They talk about the classes they attend, why they enjoy them, how they use the Moodle site, how technology helps them learn and how their teachers help them learn.

2. Whys it fun # Its different to learning in class. # You get to communicate with other schools. # You learn not only their language you learn. how to count their food and buildings.

3. MOODLE # One good thing about the Moodle site is you get set homework. # You can go back and see what you have learnt # You can play games which also help you learn about their languages

Technology # Its different from normal learning because you are learning online # Its much easier learning online you don’t have so many people it helps you to concentrate. # You always have to listen hard or you will miss out on info # Its good because you don’t have a teacher to tell you Exactly what to do so you have to find out how to do it your self. # The teacher always adds a photo of herself so you know who your talking to. # The phone helps more than being in class.

Teacher # If you are there before the teacher there is always a quiz for you to do. # She wont let you all talk at once so it helps you concentrate better. # She always makes sure you know what you are talking about and learning about so you always understand. # she also speaks English not only the language your learning about .
