SCATTER PLOT
• A scatter plot is a graph with points plotted to
show a possible relationship between two sets
of data.
• A correlation describes a relationship
between two data sets. The correlation can
help you analyze trends and make predictions.
There are three types of correlations between
data.

ANALYSIS BASED ON CUSTOMERS
HISTOGRAM
• Histograms are a useful way to illustrate the
frequency distribution of continuous data.
• A frequency polygon is obtained by joining
the mid-points of the top of the histogram
bars.
• If the classes are not of equal width, we cannot
use the frequency as the vertical axis. This is
because the frequency needs to be shown by the
area of the bar, not just the height of the bar.
