6. NOW, A DESCRIPTION OF THE TWO SPECIAL ITEMS YOU ARE TO
CREATE AS PART OF YOUR IDEAL PLACE IN STEP 1....
1.GARBAGE COLLECTION - ENERGY PRODUCTION
All the city garbage/trash collection bins will be connected to city lights.
The devices will convert the waste into energy that will power the city
lights when they are turned on. Additional energy captured will be
stored and used for future energy needs.
2.SOLAR-PANELLED WIND MILLS - ENERGY PRODUCTION
Wind mills placed throughout the city will be equipped with solar
panels. The city will be obtaining energy from both the wind and the
sun. The energy produced in these mills that are on various city
buildings will power the energy needs of the buildings such as lighting,
climate control, etc. As with the collection bins, additional energy
captured will be stored and used for future energy needs.
8. STEP 1
THIS IS THE INITIAL SKETCH I MADE, REMEMBER YOU EACH
WILL CREATE AN INITAL (1ST) DRAFT IN STEP 1. FROM THIS, I
MADE THE DECISION TO USE THE TRANSIT MAP AND OVERLAY
IT WITH THE ITEMS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CITY. IT
WILL BE IN GREATER DETAIL AND SHOW THE SIZE OF THE CITY
AND THE LOCATION OF THE VARIOUS ITEMS WITHIN THE CITY.

YOUR WORK AND THE PROJECT AT THE END OF EACH STEP.
MAKE CERTAIN TO HAND THIS IN TO ME!!!!

12. STEP 2 – FINAL DRAFT MAP
Continue with the description of the project and the ideal place to live.
Explain the reason I am using a real city like Chicago instead of
creating one like the project is to show the students where I am from. I
will still follow the project guidelines, however I will use real places, etc.
to show you items and characteristics of my city in more detail.
I will use this transit map as my map, identifying major items and
characteristics on it, then adding additional items and characteristics to
it such as….
