2. The topic of our project is TOTAL
EXPENDITURE ON PAINT IN
SCHOOL. In this project we
calculated the amount spend on
painting the school
3. Principal Room
In Principal Room there are 2
doors and three windows which
may take only 1 cans of oil paint.
If use a can of Berger company it
will cost 200 rupees per can.
So, if we will buy 1 cans so the
total cost will be
= 1 * 200
= 200 rupees
In Examination room there are 3
windows and 2 doors as same as
in the office so it will also use 1
can of oil paint. So if we use
Berger oil paint it will cost
rupees 200 per can.
So the total cost of the can are
=1 *200 rupees
= 200 rupees
Examination Room
4. Staff room is as similar to the
classrooms. I mean to say
that it has 2 doors and 3
windows and the inner are
of the staff room is of plastic
so we don’t have to paint on
it. The total can use in the
staff room of oil paint is 1
can only so the total money
spent on it is
= 200 * 1
= 200 rupees
Conference Room is little
bigger than the other rooms
as it has 2 doors but 5 or 6
windows in it so it will use 2
can of oil paint. If one oil
paint cost rupees 200 so the
total cost of the oil paint will
be
= 200 * 2
= 400 rupees
5. There are four colliders in our
school. One of ground floor,
second of first floor, third of
second floor and fourth of
third floor. So if one colliders
take one can then the total
cans used will be 4 as there
are four colliders.
so the total cost will be
= 200 * 4
= 800 rupees
The total no. of stairs in our
school is 3. 1st on front of 9th
B, second in front of 10th B
and third in front of art
room. So, if one stairs take 3
cans so the total cans used in
the stairs will be 9.
so the total cost of the cans is:
= 200 * 9
= 1800 rupees
6. Let us take an example of a class 6th A in which 1 can of oil paint
is used. So the total cost will be rupees 200.
And the rest of the classes 6th B, 6TH C, 7TH A , 7TH B,
7TH C, 8TH A, 8TH B, 8TH C, 9TH A, 9TH B, 9TH C, 9TH D, 10TH A,
10TH B, 10TH C, 11TH A, 11TH B, 11TH C, 11TH D, 12TH A, 12TH B,
12TH C and 12TH D. so there are 23 more classes , if one
class takes 14 can so the other will also use 1 cans so the
total nos. of cans are 24 including the first one also. So if the
one can cost rupees 200 so the other will cost
= 200 rupees * 24
= 4800 rupees
7. Yoga room are very small they are not very big as
classes. So as we have measured, it will not take not
more than ½ can of oil paint. But there are 9 more
rooms which are equal or has a same measurement
like yoga room so they will also take ½ can in one
room. There are now total 10 rooms so, if one room
takes ½ can then 10 rooms will take (1/2 * 10 = 5) i.e. 5
cans of oil paint now the total cost
=200 * 5 = 1000 rupees
8. Now, we shall come on the additional rooms like music
room, art room, home science room, cal lab, hey math
lab, gymnasiums and many more. Total no. of additional
rooms are 11, so if we take an example of one (music
room) then we can get the result of all. Since music room
will use 1 can, and one can costs rupees 200 , so there
are 11 rooms so the total cans used in all these rooms
are 1* 11= 11, so the total cost of all will be
= 200 * 11 = 2200 rupees
9. In junior science lab , biology lab, physics lab and chemistry lab
are only four labs of our school.According to us we assume
that in one lab it will only take 2 cans. So, the total cans used
in all four labs are 8 and as we know that one can costs
rupees 200 then the total cost will be
=200 * 8 = 1600 rupees
10. Total expenditure on oil paint is Rs.
14,000 and expenditure on paint is Rs
53,000 and expenditure on labour is Rs
25,000.
So the total expenditure is
14000+25000+53000=92000Rs.
