- Some of you may have watched the TED video of Benjamin Zander where he begins his talk with the story of the two shoe salesman sent to Africa in the early 1900s. They each wrote telegrams back to Manchester: “ Situation hopeless They don't wear shoes.” “ Glorious opportunity They don't have any shoes yet.” There is a similar situation in the Internet industry, where some people think 5 million South Africa Internet users is never going to be enough. And the 51 million Internet users in Africa is peanuts compared to North America, Europe or Asia's Internet population. This is a glorious opportunity friends, countryman and 27Dinner regulars.
