4. LynxOS the LynxOS RTOS is a Unix-like real-time operating system from LynuxWorks (formerly "Lynx Real-Time Systems"). Sometimes known as the Lynx Operating System, LynxOS features full POSIX conformance and, more recently, Linux compatibility.
