Jan van Eyck was a 15th century Flemish painter known for his masterpiece The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb, which is considered one of the most influential works of Early Netherlandish art. The painting, which hangs in Saint Bavo Cathedral in Ghent, Belgium, depicts religious scenes and includes The Just Judges panel which was unfortunately stolen in 1934.
