2. Walking a Line Blindfolded
• Does darkness affect your ability to walk in a
straight line.
• To find out, stand at one end of a large empty
room; have a colleague place a small object at
the base of the wall on the opposite side of
the room.
• Then walk slowly along a straight-line path to
the object, keeping your hands and arms
stretched out toward the object as you walk.
3. Walking a Line Blindfolded
• Now repeat the process, face the object,
observe it, then keep eyes closed or have a
blindfold put on; then attempt to walk directly
in a straight line to the object.
• Record what happens.
