Students in St. Cloud Area Schools are using iPod Touches to enhance their education. Teachers are having students create flashcards on the iPods to study vocabulary, allowing them to see, hear, write and use terms with classmates. Students also record themselves reading books on the iPods and listen back to practice reading skills and identify strengths and weaknesses. Another app has students make words for a set time and gets data on their spelling, with the goal of expanding vocabularies.
