1. Introduction
WELCOME!
It’s a pleasure to present the Green Run Rally, This event does not need
an elaborate introduction, but still I thought it appropriate that this event
be made even more informative.
THE EVENT
The Karnataka Motor Sports Club (KMSC) has been organizing different
forms of motor sporting events for more than five decades. The KMSC
owes its origin to “Bangalore Motor Cycling Club”. KMSC is also the
founder member of the Federation of Motor Sports Club of India which is
the sole governing body for Motorsports in India.
Due to the constant commitment to Motorsports over the years, Karnataka
now is a Hub for Motor sporting activity. Awareness and intensity is very
high in our state.
There are dedicated members and volunteers from various fields to
support in organizing events efficiently with clockwork precision. Some
of the events have had an international status.
KMSC is one of the few clubs that conduct a club TSD Rally
Championship every year.
As COC of the rally, I welcome one and all for this rally and present
herewith the details regarding the event.

1.1. The Green Run Rally will run in compliance with the
International Sporting Code of the FIA & FIM (and its
appendices), the General Prescriptions of The Federation of
Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), the relevant Regulations
concerning INTSDRC, these Supplementary Regulations and
bulletins issued by FMSCI.
The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) is the ASN
of the FIA in India.
Modifications, amendments and/or changes to these Supplementary
Regulations will be announced only by numbered and dated bulletins
(issued by Organizers or the Stewards).
1.2. The total distance of the Rally will be 100 KM (approx) with
one section.

3. Entries
3.1. Opening and Closing Dates
Opening date for entries will be up on publication of these regulations.
Closing date for entries will be on, 15th Aug., 2014 at 20:00 Hours
3.2. Entry Procedure
Those wishing to take part in the Green Run Rally must send the
enclosed entry form, duly completed, to the Permanent Secretariat at
the address given in Art 2.3, prior to 20:00 Hrs Friday , 15th Aug,
2014.
If the entry is sent by facsimile or email the original must reach the
Organizers at the latest, two days after the final date for close of
entries.
3.3. Number of Entrant accepted and classes
The maximum number of entries shall be no more than 40 cars. If
more than 40 entries are received the organizers reserve the right
to decide which entries will be accepted.
Entries will be grouped into following irrespective of its cubic
capacity:
A) Pro Expert
Using unlimited equipments including fully fledged Rally computers
like Terratrip, Trippy, GPS which do both distance measurement and
TSD calculations in same device
B) Pro Stock
Using only stock odometer supplied as OE and any calculating device
(Programmable calculator)
C) 2-Wheeler (Open) Using unlimited equipments including fully
fledged Rally computers like Terratrip, Trippy, GPS which do both
distance measurement and TSD calculations in same device

3.4. Payment
The entry fees can be paid either by Demand Draft in favor of “Karnataka

4.5 Refunds
Entry Fees will be refunded in full only:
 To Candidates whose entry has not been accepted.
 In the case of the Rally not taking place.
The Organizers may refund 50% of the entry fee to those competitors
who, for reasons of “Force Majeure” (duly accepted by the organizing
committee), were unable to start in the Rally.
4. Insurance
Only during the running of the event:
 150 competitors with valid FMSCI Competition License are covered
for Rs. 5 lakhs personal accident & Rs. 1 Lakh towards Medical
expenses.
 100 Officials are covered for Rs. 25 Lakh (Personal Accident) & Rs.
1 Lakh towards Medical Expenses
 Third Party Public Liability for Rs. 50 Lakh
However, it is strongly advised that all drivers take necessary and
adequate additional insurance covers on their own including
hospitalization benefits.

5. Advertisement and Identification
6.1 It is Compulsory to carry Organizers advertisements on the
competing vehicles.
6.2 Competitors are allowed to affix any kind of advertisements on their
vehicle provided that.
 It is authorized by the National Laws and FMSCI
Regulations.
 It is not likely to cause any offense.
 It is not Political or religious in nature.
 It does not encroach upon the space reserved for plates &
competition number.
6. Administrative Checks
6.1. Document Submission
The Entrant should produce the following for inspection at the time of
submitting the vehicle for scrutiny & Administrative check on Saturday,16th
Aug. 2014 from 12:30 Hours. till 14:30 Hours at Rally HQ.
Competitors are required to bring: -
1 Vehicle Registration Book.
2 Tax Book.
3 Insurance Cover Note.
4 Driving License.
5 Authority letter from owner of the Vehicle if First Driver / Second
Driver are not the owner of the Vehicle used in rally.
6 Pollution Under Control Certificate (PUC)
7 Entrant & Competition license of FMSCI or license number confirmed
by FMSCI. Minimum requirement for 4 wheeler is FMSCI
Clubsport TSD license @ Rs.300/-. Minimum requirement for 2
wheeler is one-event A/B/C @ Rs.200/- OR Full Rally license @
Rs.1100/-.
8 PAN CARD Copy of Entrant / First Driver.

10.Protest Fees
10.1. Protest Fees
The sum of protest fee set by the FMSCI is Rs. 5, 000/- for 4 wheeler
and Rs.2000/- for 2 wheeler.
10.1.1.
If the protest requires the dismantling and re-assembly of
different parts of a car, the protestor must lodge an additional
deposit.
The additional deposit for a protest involving a clearly defined part of the
car (engine, transmission, steering, braking system, electrical installation,
bodywork, etc.) Rs. 6000/-
The expenses incurred for the work and by the transport of the car shall be
borne by the claimant if the protest is unfounded, or by the competitor against
whom the protest is lodged if it is upheld.
If the protest is unfounded, and if the expenses incurred by the protest
(Scruitneering, transport, etc.) are higher than the amount of the deposit, the
difference shall be borne by the claimant. Conversely, if the expenses are
less, the difference shall be returned.
