Suppose you have been hired to re-design the student lockers at a large public
high school. What PROCESS would you use to tackle this project? Describe the

1. Know the environment (students, teachers, workers, budget for the job): ask questions,
talk less, hear more.
Brainstorm
2. Brainstorm: develop ideas with the team first, then pick one that responds better to the
given reality.
Test
3. Test the ideia: do a research with students/teachers showing how we intend to build the
new lockers.
Prototype
4. Build a prototype of the new locker and test it with the students. Make the test fun so
that the students can collaborate the best way.
Implement
5. Implement the project.
Followup
6. Follow closely the results.
Rethink
If necessary (and when it’s possible) rethink the project.
