An image is three times more effective than words alone.
Images and words together are six times more effective than word alone, so they
will help your audience to remember facts and in maintaing their attention to your
message.
However remember that when the audience is looking at images, it is not engaged
with you, so you need to keep the images to a minimum. Learn your message
thoroughly.
Effective visuals should:
Be simple and selective words
Use only one concept or idea and no more than six lines per slide or page
Use bullet points, not numbers unless sequential items
Use pictures and colors where possible, not excessively
Use all uppercase letters only for acronymous or titles
Do not use vertical lettering.
