11. Uniform Argument
Moore Intermediate believes that uniforms are an important aspect of any school in New
Zealand. Uniforms create an environment of family and belonging.
We at Moore Intermediate believe that uniforms are a great way for families to saved time in
the morning. Students donโt have to spend time thinking about what they want to wear
to school each day. They are able to quickly grab their uniform and slip it on without
even thinking. Since uniforms are worn five days a week families donโt have to spend
heaps of money on having lots of different outfits to wear to school each day. Uniforms
are an easy way to save time and money for families.
Another reason uniforms are required at Moore Intermediate is to limit bullying and our
students being judged by others. Often at adolescent age students tend to show more
of an interest in what people are wearing and this can cause conflict. Some students
might be judged for not wearing the right shoes, jeans or tops and this is not fair. To
avoid issues like this happening Moore Intermediate is a uniform school.
The final reason for Moore Intermediate being a uniform school is for our students safety in
public. When students are out of school in uniform they are able to be identified if
anything happens to them or they are seen doing the wrong thing. A school that has
uniform looks tidy and respectable because they all look smart when they are all
wearing the same colour or styled clothes. Everyone wearing the same uniform
creates unity and family.
So if you if want to go to a school that has unity and a positive environment because of it
uniform then Moore Intermediate is the place for you!
14. WALT: Use the doubling and
halving strategy. 23.5.12
๏ฏ 14 x 8=112
28, 56, 112
๏ฏ 17 x 6 =132
34, 68, 132
๏ฏ 19 x 8 =152
38, 76, 152
๏ฏ
15. Timetable Argument
๏ฏ At Moore Intermediate we believe that physical
education and sports are essential to the development
for our students.
๏ฏ The first reason for sports being a major part of the
timetable at Moore Intermediate is โฆโฆ
๏ฏ Another reason why sports are important to Moore
Intermediate isโฆ.
๏ฏ The final reason we believe so strongly about sports
isโฆโฆ
๏ฏ So if you also think that sports are important in your
child education then Moore Intermediate is the school for
you.
