3. BREATHING (RESPIRATION)
All living things breathe. Plants breathe carbon dioxide. It is important for
everybody to breathe. Humans breathe oxygen. If you didn’t breathe you
would die.
4. MOVEMENT
Babies cant just go and get their own food, they need to grow up so they
can get food by themselves. Everybody grows up.
Some plants move their leaves to the sun, that is also movement.
5. SENSITIVITY
Sensitivity is when you smell something like smoke. That maybe means
danger because it may be a fire.
Our senses are: smell, taste, hearing, sight, feel/touch.
6. GROWTH
We all need to grow. Growth is when you have a seed and you plant it,
water it and make sure it has sun, and then it grows into a big tree.
Plants grow bigger so that they are stronger and they be able to be stepped
on.
7. NUTRITION
We all need food, even plants. A bunny comes and eats food like carrots,
then a fox comes and eats the bunny.
Some animals just eat plants.
Some animals just eat meat.
Some animals eat plants and meat.
Plants get their food from the sun.
Without food and water livings things would die.
8. REPRODUCTION
Some adults have babies, for example rabbits have bunnies.
Plants produce seeds.
If living things didn’t reproduce then it would die and the whole species
would become extinct.
9. EXCRETION
Excretion is when you have to go to the toilet. If you don’t got to the toilet
you will get bigger burst!
Excretion is important so that you get rid of food that you don’t need that is
in your tummy.
