Notes de l'éditeur
IN MY ROLE AS THE MOBILITY COORDINATOR, OUR EFFORTS ARE FOCUSED ON THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA THAT MIRRORS THE HEARTLAND RURAL AREA OF CRITICAL ECONOMIC CONCERN, WHICH IS THE COUNTIES OF: HARDEE, HIGHLANDS, DESOTO, OKEECHOBEE, GLADES AND HENDRY AND THE COMMUNITIES OF: BELLE GLADE, PAHOKEE AND SOUTH BAY IN PALM BEACH COUNTY, AND IMMOKALEE IN COLLIER COUNTY. WITHIN THIS RURAL REGION, MOBILITY IS AN EVEN GREATER CHALLENGE AS MANY OF THE CITIES ARE LONG DISTANCES APART AND IN A LOT OF AREAS, THERE ARE NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICES AVAILABLE .
