Pablo Picasso was a highly influential Spanish artist born in 1881 in Málaga, Spain. He was one of the most prolific artists of the 20th century, co-founding the cubist movement and working in multiple mediums including painting, sculpture, printmaking, and ceramics. Picasso had a volatile personality and was a creative genius who loved art, music and crafts. He passed an exam to study at the School of Fine Arts in Barcelona at only 14 years old and died in 1973 in France at the age of 91.
