You must have a Cause -- a Moral Imperative to start -- and the best Cause is unrequited love. In any
event, in the end of the trading day US light crude oil was up 59 cents for the day.
On Thursday, August 14 before the market open, Cameco (CCJ) reported Q2 '08 earnings of $0.39
per share (excluding items) or $142 million (all dollar amounts are expressed in Canadian dollars -
CAD, unless otherwise stated), which was 30% lower than a year ago but beat an average analyst
expectation of $0.381 per share. Revenue was reported at $620 million, down 14% a year ago. This
was due to lower earnings in 3 units (uranium, fuel services, electricity). Both the uranium and fuel
services units experienced lower sales volumes. However, earnings for the first half of 2008
increased by 9% due to higher realized selling prices in uranium which compensated for lower
earnings in CCJ's other units. Shares gapped down $0.73 USD to open at $30.26 USD and closed at
$31.21 USD, up 0.7%.
But let's first focus on the present. Presently, the USA is the worst in their consumption of total
energy. In the USA alone the average household spends 18% of its budget on their transportation.
One reason is when new developments are constructed outside the city limits, the effects create
more driving back and forth from the home to the job.
It is still being whispered that the Party of YES would love to nationalize the banking industry. Isn't
this just what the American taxpayers want? An inept government Uranium Enrichment running our
banking industry. I foresee trillions of dollars going missing. I'm sure the Party of YES will vote for
this to happen eventually.
See my point? The greater problem will be an inadequate grid coping with increasing demand. We're
merely shifting deck chairs. Fact is we're in transition; and there is no final solution yet that is clean
and cost effective; let alone problem free. Furthermore, there can be no final solution without a
grand design where all power systems contribute into the grid; and that includes nuclear using
Thorium in lieu of Uranium. I'll address that in another article.
The skirmish began when Pyongyang warned the South to halt military drills in the area, according
to South Korean officials. (The remainder of this paragraph will be delivered in 12 year old girl
speak.) And the South was like "no way"! And the North was like "well you better not"! Then the
south just did their Uranium Fuel Cycle own thing with their missiles and shells and stuff. So the
North said, "backoff we're gonna bomb ya fool"! And people were mad hurt yo!
There may be a reason why this bull market is now running on six years instead of the usual four.
Uranium miners began lobbying the U.S. Department of Energy to allow the industry to rebuild after
a two-decade-long uranium depression or drought.
Perhaps this time, the up and down pattern of the Uranium cycle has been extended. If this does
happen, it could come about because of the insistence of Uranium miners to help rebuild their
industry. For now, the U.S. Department of Energy seems to be cooperating.
Obama just called for a "new generation" of nuclear power plants to be built in the United States and
has requested $54 billion in his budget to get them started.
2. Another step in how to work from home and make money includes creating a business plan. Your
business plan is like the GPS in your car: it's a guide that gets you from point A to point B. However,
you don't just punch in a few characters and let that smug computer voice tell you what to do and
where to go. This is the part that necessitates elbow grease. The more work you do here, the less
you'll need to do later.
The genuine amount of uranium in Custard glass is minute, maybe 1%-2% of the glass mix. We're
seeing lots of these kinds of stocks in the current marketplaces. Idaho has a population of about 1.5
million people.
