1. Welcome Introduction
Hello students, I am excited that you will be in this online class BAD 410, Business Law. I hope to make it
not only informative and educational, but fun and rewarding. Business Law is all around us.
I like things simple and easy to understand. I remember when I was in college, sometimes the
instructions were not straight forward and clear. So here is where I’d like you to start.
1. Glance at the syllabus ( it will give you the overall picture of what we have to cover, though not
every single line it will be covered, only those things which I believe are relevant to the real
world).
2. Select week 1 from the menu section area on the left hand side of your virtual online page (the
sixth tab). This will open up the PowerPoint’s. These are important because they take all of the
written data and condense it to something compact, concise and understandable.
3. Week 1 contains, seven PowerPoint’s, from each I will likely select three-four critical questions
and that will be that week’s exam / quiz.
4. The very first chapter/ PowerPoint has nothing and everything to do with the content; let me
explain. It deals with critical thinking; what we must do to place ourselves in the right state of
mind to discuss and evaluate legal issues. The real content begins ta chapter two.
I will continually feed you relevant information on the course and make myself available to answer any
questions and support you in any way.
