The images that were used in my Animoto represent the qualities of a good
childcare.
The center must have a well planned environment with proper lighting,
ventilation and heating. It must be safe and attractive to the children. Educators
must be qualified and staffs are properly trained. Open-ended materials are
available to allow children to explore, invent, maintain the interest of children for
longer period of time, and invite creativity and communication. Wide ranges of
developmental level, such as physical, cognitive and emotional are met. Well-
balance meals are served to the children. Different types of learning centers are
incorporated such as, library, music, drama area engages children to an
interesting and challenging activities. The highly motivating activity has been
linked to social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth (J. Bullard, p 229).
Documentation of children’s art work shows that they belong here in the center.
Playground activities will develop children’s gross motor, fine motor and other
physical and mental development. Teachers are spending quality time to the
children. Proper and child size toilets, sinks, and furniture are available. Parents
are welcome to participate in their activities, like fund raising in the community.
One of my weaknesses, it took me more time to choose good images. Deciding
on the music is another weakness, I encountered in making this project. My
knowledge in the subject matter is one of my strength. I was able to describe the
images with the help of my resources like textbooks. I applied the things I learned
from my class and Priti’s class too. I gained confidence in making Animoto.
