1. Hundreds of people are killed in two wheeler
accidents, everyday.
A strange idea is submitted below to reduce
road accident deaths due to accidents involving
two wheelers.
The idea in it's crude form may be incorrect. All
are requested to offer their comments /
suggestions / improvement for refinement of the
proposal and for final implementation.

2. Just like we have seat belts for cars, we should
develop seat belts suitable for two wheelers.
The belts, part of the two wheeler, should be
fastened around, near the waist / top of thy of
the rider.
This will help to prevent the rider from thrown
away at a high velocity, in case of a crash. Even
if the rider is thrown away, impact will be
minimised.

3. If the rider is thrown away along with the two
wheeler, chances are less for the head of the
rider to hit the road. The two wheeler is likely to
hit the road. It is to be decided whether the belt
should break away in case of a crash causing a
slow release of the rider.
Similarly, hand straps should be the part of the
two wheeler handles. Rider should insert their
hands thru these hand straps, before holding
the bike, as is done while holding digital
cameras. This will help to reduce the impact
when thrown away.

4. The above idea is in crude form. The idea
requires a lot of brain storming and purification.
A lot of experiments and studies are required by
technocrats before the practical implementation.
All are requested to offer your comments on the
above crude idea. Let us refine it before a
practical solution is developed.
