AMERICAN MEDIA
BY: SAFIA AKHTAR
INTRODUCTION:
Media of the United States consist of
several types of media : television,
radio, cinema, newspapers,
magazines, and Internet-based Web
sites. The U.S. also has a strong
music industry. The strong mean of
communication is internet
The Internet has provided a
means for newspapers and
other media organizations to
deliver news and, significantly,
the means to look up old news.
Some organizations only make
limited amounts of their output
available for free, and charge
for access to the rest. Other
organizations allow their
archives to be freely browsed.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
The first newspaper in America
was printed by Richard Pierce
and edited by Benjamin Harris
on 25 September 1690. It
contained 3 printed pages and
one blank page.

PRIVATE MEDIA OR UNDER GOVERNMENT:
Freedom of speech in the United States is
protected by the First Amendment to
the US Constitution. The freedom of
speech is not absolute; the Supreme Court
of the United States has recognized several
categories of speech that are excluded
from the freedom, and it has recognized
that governments may enact reasonable
time, place, or manner restrictions on
speech.
WHICHTYPEOF FILMSAREMADE INAMERICA
America always make movies to divert
the public opinion. They always make
those type of movies through which the
public opinion change. They make a lot
of movies on World War II and a cold war
with Russia. It always change the
perception of the public. Like
“RAMBOO”
ROLE OF AMERICAN MEDIA IN IC:
One of the most obvious manifestations of
international communication are world news
when the media of one country cover news from
abroad. But, apart from journalism, international
communication also occurs in other areas
(culture, technology, sciences) and the nature of
the "information" that is circulated can be
classified in a wide variety of categories, such as
cultural (music, films ,sports , TV shows from
one country to another
STRATEGYOF THEIRMEDIA:
International news coverage from US media is very
poor. According to the Pew Research Center’s recent
study of American journalism, coverage of
international events is declining more than any other
subject. In the study of 2007, 64% of participating
newspaper editors said their papers had reduced the
space for international news. ‘In a strict sense, the
American media did not in 2007 cover the world,’
says the Pew report. Beyond Iraq, only two countries
received notable coverage last year — Iran and
Pakistan.”
This non-coverage of global
issues is worrying because
so many American citizens
end up getting a narrow view
of many important world
issues. In such a situation, it
is easier for propagandists to
say things that are harder to
question and seem real.
ANALYSIS:
America is a Vito Power. Their strongest key is
their media. They are trend setters, means
whatever they wear, it becomes the fashion,
how to break news on media , page up, page
down etc. The world are trend followers of
America. Their media hide their personal
stories and interfere in world politics. They
want to rule the world. America have cold war
with Russia and they use their media to
change the perception of audience and create
a positive image of America in front of the
world.
America rule the world
through their media.
American media plays
news according to their
mean. Their media is
biased. World accept all
their trends and fashion.
World is in their hand.
They control it through
their media.
CONCLUSION:
American media presents their media as
a dreamland. If any citizen of any other
state watch their media, they wish to be
the part of it. But in actual, Americans
are not broadminded. They talk about the
freedom of women but in reality, their
women are not appointed on the higher
level. In fact, women are not the part of
their national assembly.
