2. Characters can be represented in different ways
to suit the target audience, this can be changed
through different social groups. The different
social classes are Age, Gender, Social
class, Ethnicity and also physical ability.
In our media product, our characters shared
similar similarities and differences in social
groups. The 2 characters are around similar
age, both are white, British and males. They
lastly share similar abilities and social classes.

3. Stereotypes
A stereotype is somebody that is an example of a gender or what
people should look like.
In Action films the stereotypes are usually men, as they are
stereotypically bold and strong. Men are normally used in Action
films as they are more dominant over females which are more
vulnerable. In a males society there are two types which are very
dominant males and less dominant males. In our media product we
decided to support the stereotypes theory in Action films by using
male characters in our film opening which made our media product
better and more accurate. In my opinion I was glad that we used
males instead of females because at the fight scene it would be
abnormal to see women fighting in a Action film scene.
