2. UBM India is proud to announce the 3rd edition of the unique CSR initiative: Giving Back - NGO India, that will bring
together the voluntary sector, Indian corporate & Government on a common platform enabling them to network
and interact.
With Sustainability as its theme, Giving Back will make the voluntary sector self-sustainable and will also enable the
corporate to work towards brand sustainability, thus contributing to the overall growth and well-being of the society.
This is a 100% non-profit initiative which will provide the right platform to eligible NGOs from across the globe. The
eligibility of the NGOs will be determined by a stringent 10-point due diligence process conducted by our associate
partner Guidestar India.
Our focus in 2014 will be to make it a bigger success, with more than 200 NGOs exhibiting their causes and over 3000
expected visitors from the corporate and the governing bodies.
Why Partner?
A great leader once said, “Be the change you want to see”. At NGO India,
we wish to live up to this very thought, by empowering our partners to
contribute to a bigger cause, for a better tomorrow. NGO India is a place
where you can:
• Connect and discuss about the various CSR practices
• Get a better understanding of the best CSR practices
• Convene with NGOs who showcase their work, to get the financial &
administrative aid
• Make objective decisions concerning your organizational CSR activities
• Establish your brand as socially responsible and move towards
business sustainability

4. Testimonials
The event was highly appreciated by NGOs, partners, corporate as well as
Government heads….
Corporate
I must commend the professional way this entire
event was organized. The open forums conducted
in the NGO stall area were also a very good way
to educate the visitors.
Venkat Rolla, Group Head- CSR, RPG Foundation
It’s a good platform because all NGOs are brought
under one roof, hence the people come to know
what are the different NGOs doing throughout
India and their benefits.
I would like to sincerely and warmly congratulate you
for putting up an excellent show.
I was deeply impressed by the vigor, enthusiasm and
energy that I saw in abundant measure.
My heartiest compliments to you and your team.
Without a dynamic and visionary leadership
and seamless team-work, this would not have
been possible. I was happy to participate in the
deliberations. I found the discussions and interactions
extremely useful, invigorating and stimulating.
Amb. Ashok Sajjanhar, Secretary, National
Foundation for Communal Harmony
Wockhardt Foundation
As an actor I feel fortunate to have the power to influence the general
public and their opinions. I strongly believe that the film industry
has been actively involved in creating social awareness. Now with
production houses turning into corporates, I foresee greater support
from the film fraternity to involve in CSR initiatives. Personally, working
with UBM India’s Giving Back-NGO India is one of my first mature
experiences in the field of social responsibility.

We need to create exclusive hubs
to connect capable, creditable
and transparent NGOs with
corporates; UBM being one of
them. This will facilitate better
disbursal of resources and help
overcome shortages.
