My name is Rhitt Growl, and I am the Digital Media teacher at the Satellite Center in St. Charles Parish. For the past six
years our Center has hosted a Video and Animation Festival for Louisiana High School students. Last year we received
over 100 entries from students attending schools in the River Parishes, Greater New Orleans Area and Northshore. The
Festival and Awards Ceremony attracted over 300 video and animation enthusiasts and showcased the work of some of
the most creative students in our state.
We are in the process of planning for the 2012 Festival and are seeking sponsorships to help defer the cost of supplies
and materials for the event. In addition to keeping this event free for student artists to enter, we would also like to
purchase trophies, concessions to sell, small yard signs and newspaper ads to advertise the event, and t-shirts to give to
all of the students that enter.
You can put your company’s name and message in front of this talented young group of future animators and filmmakers
by choosing one of our sponsorship packages. Your sponsorship will help bring “Hollywood South” into the high school
classroom as well as promote homegrown talent for the burgeoning Louisiana film and animation industries.
