I am an associate with Tata Consultancy Services for the last 9 years. My main area of
experience has been Project Management, leading the manual testing and test
automation activities for various web based applications, database and ETL

Project Description:
SDS - Shared Data Services are the back bone services at Humana. They are used by
Authentication platforms, Enrollment and Claims to know the status of Members,
Coverage and Providers. Initial development, Maintenance & Support, Enhancement to
SDS form the core part of the services. Two kind of services Real time & Bulk service
are core component of this project. In Real time Service, implementation has been
done through XML and in Bulk Service implementation has been done through SSIS
Packages.
These services basically interact with the core databases of Humana i.e. Shared Data
Repository and Operational Data Store (ODS).
This project is all about ensuring the correctness of RT and bulk services also the
validation of the data for both SDR and ODS.
The testing team is called as TMO (Test Management Office) which is responsible for
carrying the testing activity for both the databases i.e. Shared data repository (SDR)
and Operational database (ODS) also the testing of services (Real time and Bulk) which
basically interact with both SDR and ODS data bases.

BT Onevoice Global VPN is an end-to-end service for voice communications that helps
you consolidate disparate networks into a single, converged infrastructure, without

Project Description:
The 21st Century Network (21CN) program is the network transformation project of
the UK telecommunications company BT Group plc. It will see the UK incumbent's
telephone network move from the present AXE/System X Public Switched Telephone
Network (PSTN) to an Internet Protocol (IP) system. As well as switching over the
PSTN, BT has revealed plans to deliver many additional services over their new
network, such as on-demand interactive TV services.
BT originally stated that it would accrue annual savings of £1 billion when the
transition to the new network was completed, and hoped to have over 50% of its
customers transferred by 2008. (See External links below for current progress.) Capital
expenditure was put at £10 billion over five years, this being 75% of BT's total capital
spending plans in that period.
Module TnD: Testing and Diagnostics is one of the major activities which constitute
testing of individual network elements and also their interaction with each other.
Through this, each and every part of network can be tested in terms of network
functionality. If any problem arises in network elements or among interaction with
each other, then, problem can be diagnosed at very elementary level for permanent
solution.
Responsibilities:
 Network Troubleshooting.
 Automation of Test cases using TCL/Tk
 Writing Test Scripts in TCL for checking functionality of End to End flow of data
(that basically covers EvoTAM, QT200 and MSAN functionality, three major
devices used by Service Providers in their architecture).
 Validation of these scripts through MQC on Live environment.
 Manual Testing of Tyco EMS and other element managers.
 Writing Test cases on Various Topologies using these devices and their
functionality.
