2012 brings us yet another product anniversary – the 25th Anniversary
of the BIC® Clic Stic™ in North America. We will celebrate this milestone
globally, marking the continued success of the BIC® Clic Stic™ as our
best-selling pen with high quality, styling and imprint options.
As we honor the past, we also continue to invent the future. We have
several new line extensions for the European market in 2012. We are
expanding our Ecolutions® collection with the BIC® Ecolutions® Matic
- our first mechanical pencil featuring recycled materials and adding
the BIC® Triumph® 537R to our selection of popular BIC® Rollers. We are
also reinvigorating our elegant Sheaffer® collection with new special
packaging options and a line of Sheaffer® - branded padfolios.
Inventing the future also means protecting the environment for future
generations. BIC’s approach to sustainable development aims still
minimizing the environmental impact of our products: by using less
material or substituting with alternative materials, i.e. recycled or “made
of renewable resources” materials. In addition, some of our items are
also refillable, giving you the ability to use them over and over again.
