The document summarizes the Sustainability Tracking and Reporting Tool (START) project. START is a database developed by SCAA to help members track sustainability metrics and contributions towards the UN Millennium Development Goals. It allows companies to compile data on environmental footprint, development projects, and other sustainability indicators. The database will be rolled out in phases, first enabling basic reporting and later adding collaboration features. It is intended to facilitate industry-wide reporting and coordination on sustainability efforts.
