7. Functioning The pen is really a multimedia print reader with an built-in speaker system and the capability to stock audio files. It runs on battery and it will work continuously for about 7 hours. It can only be used on MPR coded books When the pen is positioned over a book with MPR codes, it activates the pre-loaded audio files, so a reader is also able to hear the text they are reading. Any Publisher can ask for its book to be made compatible with the pen by asking the company which will send prerecorded audio files to it. These books will be of the same cost as the normal books.
