 Nepean is currently undergoing rebranding and
 reorganisation to better reflect our strengths as a
 large Australian engineering and manufacturing
 enterprise able to participate fully in the mining
 infrastructure growth taking place in Australia.
Why are we rebranding?

To take advantage of unprecedented growth & opportunity in
Mining, Infrastructure and Transport

To fully leverage the capability and knowledge to generate superior
returns

To offer our people the opportunity to be part of a larger and more
successful business

Most customers are not aware of our total potential offering

Our customers are global and not just local, especially in Mining

Employees, technology partners, banks, investors, suppliers did not
see Nepean as having an attractive plan or strategy
Why are we rebranding?

Nepean is in a privileged position with a well established footprint as a
significant Australian manufacturer and supplier to this sector.

The forecast growth in the Australian production of metals and minerals is
19% between FY10 & FY14, supporting a project pipeline of $320billion of
which $105 billion is already committed.

However, it’s not all mining! Capital expenditure on Australia’s civil
infrastructure has rapidly expanded over the last decade as a result of
strengthening commodities demand, a growing population and the
rebuilding of the nation’s capital stock. Annual capital expenditure on
Australian infrastructure has grown from $28bn in 2000 to $81bn in 2010
expected to increase to $132bn by 2014.

To take advantage of unprecedented growth & opportunity in Mining, Infrastructure and Transport To fully leverage the capability and knowledge to generate superior returns To offer our people the opportunity to be part of a larger and more successful business Most customers are not aware of our total potential offering Our customers are global and not just local, especially in Mining Employees, technology partners, banks, investors, suppliers did not see Nepean as having an attractive plan or strategy
  • 4. Why are we rebranding? Nepean is in a privileged position with a well established footprint as a significant Australian manufacturer and supplier to this sector. The forecast growth in the Australian production of metals and minerals is 19% between FY10 & FY14, supporting a project pipeline of $320billion of which $105 billion is already committed. However, it’s not all mining! Capital expenditure on Australia’s civil infrastructure has rapidly expanded over the last decade as a result of strengthening commodities demand, a growing population and the rebuilding of the nation’s capital stock. Annual capital expenditure on Australian infrastructure has grown from $28bn in 2000 to $81bn in 2010 expected to increase to $132bn by 2014.
