The Communications Task Force met 5 times to improve communication within their organization. They conducted a SWOT analysis and informally surveyed coworkers. Their progress report found that the task force recruited members and drafted recommendations. Departmental meetings, monthly staff meetings, and available technology were seen as strengths, while a lack of consistent communication methods, underutilized technology, and infrequent meetings were weaknesses. Opportunities included using email more effectively and increasing face-to-face time and training. Threats were the fear of rejection, change, and lack of supervisor training. Feedback on their efforts was requested.
