Expect Respect and a Safe
        Education
 A five-year, multi-level training program for education
  and community partners to help them proactively identify
  and address threats. Spring 2013
    Preventing One day session for elementary
       Bullying1 teacher/1 admin from each school


       Basic Risk    2 day training sessions
    Assessment       2 reps from each mid/high school
       Admin/Counsellor/Community members


 New online tools, including a Smartphone app, for kids to
  report bullying anonymously.
      Available before Winter Break
      We already have www.psstworld.com
 Dedicated safe school co-ordinators in every school
  district – January 2013

 Stronger codes of conduct for schools
         Done 2012
 Provincial guidelines for threat assessments.
         Coming from the Ministry of Education

 On line materials for parents

    Tri ministerial protocols on:
   Child Abuse
   Risk Assessment
   Suicide Postvention
   Threat Assessment (Spring 2013)
 A provincial advisory committee with
  representatives from police, school and social
  agency partners.

 Anti-bullying and threat assessment training for
  pre-service teachers: Universities
 Focusing one of the existing six provincial
  teacher professional development days on anti-
  bullying.
