Question opportunities between each section
Built upon work for the past three years that scaled within Nebo School district in Utah.
- This turned out to be great PD for the teachers to gain a deeper understanding about the standards and available resources.
Common Understandings: What are standards? What purpose do they serve? What is the role of a textbook in our courses? In our ideal world, there are at least two people on each standard team… Recommended that you select a topic that is NOT your favoriteMove to standards team tables and introductionsName Files: Standard # Biology OER Day One Draft.docUse Times New Roman, Size 12 font, 1-inch marginsInclude Page Numbers Centered at the Bottom of the PageSpacing should reflect vision of final product – (No need to double space)Bold Vocabulary Words and Keep at Glossary Page at the end of your documentOnly 50 pages per standard.
Using word documents, which allowed for review utilizing tools such as tracked changes in the text as well as comments for opinion based suggestions.Only three rounds? This is due to the fact that after three rounds, most teachers felt like they agreed with everything that had been said in the other reviews.
