Deflation is the lifting
and removal of loose
particles such as clay
and silt
Abrasion occurs when
wind blown sand cuts
and polishes exposed
rock surfaces.
3. DESERT PAVEMENT
Created after abrasion removes all of
the finer particles and leaves behind
the larger coarser rock and pebbles.
This pavement remains permanent
unless vehicles, humans, or animals
disturbed the surface.
