2. Problem statement There are dumpers which need to tracked. Tracking includes- >>Checking whether the dumper started its operation or not. >>No of trips made by each employee in a particular shift. >>Total no of trips in particular shift of each dumper. >>Total no of trips of each dumper in whole day, moth or year. >>Total no of trips by all drivers in a given day, month, year etc. All of the above requirement should be automated to decrease the manual errors and implement a good fleet management system.
3. Solution with us We have gained insight of your problem and we decided to go for a local positioning system using long range active RFID technology. This is a very simple, cost effective and efficient method for your application. Integrate it with biometric attendance system for fool proofing from proxy and for exact reporting time of drivers . Unlike GSM and GPS based system there is no recurring cost. We can add many other features to the network which we establish. Features include integration of IP cameras with RFID system, 2 way audio system for announcements etc. Web based Application >> Login into WWW.ASNTECH.IN, give your ID and Password to view your daily reports and live data online from any where in the world.
4. We provides three different versions of software . 1. Demo version with one check point. >> counts no of trips of each dumper and can generate various reports. 2. Version 2.0 with two check points >> counts no of trips of each dumper and can generate various reports. >> Provides web based application where you can view real time data or live data any where in world 3. Version 4.0 with four check points. >> >> counts no of trips of each dumper and can generate various reports. >> Provides web based application where you can view real time data or live data any where in world. >> Resolution of tracking is very high and gets immediate real time data. >>ex: If any dumper stops working etc…..i.e. response time of the software is low compared to Version 2.0 and demo version. Note: We can also provide different versions depending on your requirements
6. Basic Architecture RFID reader 2 (connected o local server via GSM link or wifi if possible) RFID reader 1 (connected to local server Via WiFi link) Remote Clients Remote Clients Local server Internet Remote Clients Local client Remote Clients
9. Architecture at RFID reader 1 WiFi Access Point PTZ IP camera Truck will register itself when it passes by RFID reader
10. Architecture at RFID reader 2 GSM Modem Truck will register itself when it passes by RFID reader RFID Reader
11. All readers are connected to central server wirelessly (Through Wi-Fi access points up to 5km) Wireless access points Wireless access points Wireless access points
12. Communication With Server GSM Modem WiFi Access Point End Clients End Clients Internet End Clients End Clients
18. Other features of software If any dumper stops working in the middle of the shift, immediately SMS alerts will be sent to 5 pre fixed Nos which helps to attain a better fleet management system Request for the current status using SMS. Summary of the shift or the day can be SMSed to pre fixed nos. By integrating it with a video analytic software we can have snap shots of each and every dumper and its status of load when it passes by the Rfid reader.
19. Return On Investment(ROI) Period Return on investment is very important factor when implementing a new technology Let us say on an average 2 people per shift are working for noting the trips made by dumpers, we need 6 persons to manage. Suppose, If the average pay per employee is 5k. It is coming up to 7.2 lakhs pre two years. Therefore ROI period is less then 2 years. Unlike GPS and GSM system there is no recurring cost. There is always a chance for human errors and deceiving. By implementing Automatic tracking system there is no chance of happening such type of errors or deceiving. If we consider cost for such things, the ROI period is even low. On top of all this things we have whole data and reports to analyze and implement good fleet management system.
